Contaminated Land Register
Contaminated Land Register
The council maintains a public register of contaminated land within Haringey. This land is either regulated by the council or the Environment Agency.
There is a summary of the public register available below. It gives basic information about the number of contaminated land sites recorded on the register.
Some information may be withheld if the site owners or persons responsible have proven that it is commercially confidential or that it is not in the public’s best interest.
Accessing the full public register
The contaminated land public register is available free of charge during office hours (9am - 5pm Monday to Friday) except during public holidays and other days when the council’s offices are closed.
A standard fee is charged for copying any information from the contaminated land public register. The register contains detailed documentation relating to contaminated land sites in the borough.
If you have any special requirements please call the council before your visit to make sure you can access the information:
The register is in electronic and paper format. The electronic version is not yet available online, but we'll add it to this page when it is.
