Cooling Tower Notifications

All premises containing cooling towers and evaporative condensers must be registered with the council under The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992.

The prime purpose of this is to identify potential areas that could give rise to the spread of infectious disease eg legionella and to ensure preventative measures are taken to eliminate the risk of such infection to employees and the public.

Please use the registration forms in the attached files section below for cooling towers notification.
