Creative London North

Creative London North (CLN) is a 'creative community in progress' that will grow to service the diverse needs of the local community and beyond and advocate and promote local creative talent, products and services.

It is a cross between a creative chamber of commerce and a club for creative entrepreneurs.

CLN has a professional mentoring scheme and a broader life-coaching service. There are regular training, speed-matching sessions and supervision and support are available for both mentors and mentees.

Manufacturing Advisory Service

The London Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) is part of a DTI initiative to help manufacturers to improve productivity and performance.

In London, it is run by Business Link for London and EEF South and is supported by the London Development Agency.

The North London Chamber of Commerce is a membership organisation run by business for business. They endeavour to listen to your needs and more importantly, react.

North London Export Forum

The North London Export Forum is run by the North London Chamber of Commerce and is a network for businesses with an interest in export trade.

The Forum allows businesses to share experiences and observations and attracts high-calibre speakers with vast experience in the export trade who can introduce members to new opportunities.

Social Enterprise London

Social Enterprise London (SEL) is the heart and voice of the social enterprise sector in London and promotes community, best practice, advocacy & development - working directly with individuals, organisations and regional government to help them realise their vision through social enterprise.

SEL provides a number of services aimed at building capacity, spreading best practice and creating a support infrastructure for London.

Urban Futures - Employ ULV Framework

Employ ULV is a framework, which aims to provide a flexible and co-ordinated approach to labour market intervention in the Upper Lee Valley, and to ensure labour market demand and supply are better matched.

The Employ ULV programme works with employers to establish their skill and labour force needs, and supports training providers and job brokerage agencies to deliver appropriate training and support to meet these requirements, in order to link economically inactive residents with employment opportunities in the Upper Lee Valley.

Urban Futures - Pathways to Enterprise (P2E)

The P2E offers up to £3500 worth of free business advice and support to small and medium sized businesses in parts of Haringey, Enfield and Waltham Forest.

The support provided ranges from creating a business plan, developing and implementing marketing strategies, developing and maintaining websites, accounting support, business incubation premises and help in accessing specialist and community based loan funds.

The P2E specialises in addressing issues faced by start-up businesses and particularly those who are owned/led by black and minority ethnic people, women, and people with disabilities.
