Haiti earthquake - emergency appeal

An appeal has been set up by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) - a group of charities - to help the people of Haiti, which has been devastated by a massive earthquake.

Any Haringey residents who want to make a donation can find out how at the committee’s website: www.dec.org.uk (external link).

To make a postal donation, make cheques payable to ‘DEC Haiti Earthquake’ and send to

Donations can also be made at any high street bank, or at a Post Office by quoting Freepay 1449.
