Speak OUT! Live London Talk Show presents: Commonwealth Boxing Middleweight Champion, Michael Watson MBE and HIS-STORY
Including film screening of: “The People’s Champion” - Mr Michael Watson MBE, known as “The Force’, a British former professional boxer tells HIS-STORY, live on: Speak OUT! Live London, a brand new exciting talk show.
Michael held the Commonwealth Middleweight title from 1989 to 1991, and challenged three times for a world title between 1990 and 1991. His career was cut short after a near fatal injury sustained during his loss to Chris Eubanks for the WBO Super-Middleweight title in 1991. After fighting for his life, he went on to complete the London Marathon in 2003, was awarded an MBE in 2004, and was a torchbearer for the London Paralympic Games in 2012. To this day he continues to be an inspiration. Michael Watson is a born survivor and that’s why he is known as “The People’s Champion”
