Treatment process 

Our pest control officers will: 

  • use professional-grade poison 
  • make 3 visits to check on progress and lay down new poison 

During treatment we will visit your home and:

  • discuss the treatment with you 
  • put down bait 
  • give you advice on how to stop mice from infesting your home 

Treatment can be carried out in the:

  • kitchen 
  • loft
  • hot water tank cupboard 

Signs of a mouse problem 

You may have a mouse problem if you:  

  • hear scratching noises in the walls or ceilings  
  • see small, dark droppings, particularly along walls, in cupboards or under sinks  
  • smell an ammonia-like smell that is strong in areas such as under cupboards  
  • find damage where mice have chewed on wood, plastic and cables  
  • find nests with shredded material such as newspaper or fabric, often hidden in places such as behind fridges  

Damage from mice 

Mice in your home can: 

  • spread diseases and infections 
  • cause damage by chewing through a wide range of materials 
  • chew through electric cables and wiring increasing the risk of fire and electrocution
