Better Haringey
What is Better Haringey?
Better Haringey is our top priority programme to improve the environment. We've invested £20 million to make real, visible improvements to our environment, working with you for a cleaner, greener and safer borough.
What we are doing
In addition to the Council's mainstream services, such as refuse collection and street cleaning, there are a number of new projects being delivered through the Better Haringey programme during this financial year (2007-8):
- Better Haringey Estates Improvement Programme
- Raising Awareness and involvement
- Environmental Cleanliness and Enforcement
- Improving Green and Open Spaces
- Sustainability
Progress of these projects are detailed within the Council's Programme Management report that is reported to regular meeting of Cabinet.
