Starting Secondary School in 2017
Secondary school admission 2017
Secondary school outcomes will be sent by email via the PAN London eAdmissions system during the evening of 1 March 2017.
Please be aware that in the past the Pan London eAdmissions system has experienced problems with certain email providers (Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail and BTinternet) delivering emails. To avoid this happening to you, there is an alternative way that you can receive your outcome:
- Download the ParentComms app to a mobile device, to receive push notifications from the eAdmissions website. Go to your app store and register your eAdmissions username and password:
- For further information about using the ParentComms app, please visit the eAdmissions guidance page (external link)
If you have not yet applied - Late Applications
If you live in Haringey and your child was born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006 you will need to apply for a secondary school place for September 2017.
If you live in Haringey, you must apply through us for a school place, even if the school is located in another borough.
If you live outside Haringey you can still apply for schools in Haringey but you must list them on the form of your own local authority.
We strongly recommend that you apply online for a school place (external website). You can access the internet for free at any Haringey library and you can change your application at any point up until the closing date.
Haringey residents should follow the steps below to apply for a secondary school

Decide which 6 schools you would like to list on your application and the order you prefer them. They can be located in Haringey or in another local authority.
You can make changes to your application until the closing date of 31 October 2016.
If you applied online, you can make changes as many times as you like, using the online system, up to 31 October 2016.
If you applied using a paper form, you must contact the Admissions Service in writing before 31 October 2016.
- We cannot accept changes over the telephone
- Preferences cannot be changed after 31 October 2016
Changing your address: once you are resident at your new address you must contact us immediately in writing or by email and provide proofs of your new address. Your child’s record will be updated if you provide proofs of your new address before the 12 December 2016. If we receive the information after 12 December 2016 we will not be able to update your home to school distances until after 1 March 2017.
We will not accept a temporary address if you still possess a property that was previously used as a home address, nor will we accept a temporary address if it is used solely or mainly to obtain a school place. For more information on the address we will use for your child's application, please refer to page 11 in the secondary admissions booklet.
