The National Governors' Association is the representative body for school governors in England. The NGA works for governors by:
- Supporting local governor associations and governing bodies
- Lobbying ministers and policy makers
- Producing high quality guidance and information
- Organising events and conferences
Governors can join the NGA as individuals, as members of a governing body, or through their local governors' association.
