This annual ceremony is now in its fourth year and the Council and partners in Haringey's sporting community called upon clubs and individuals to nominate in the various categories:

• Coach of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
• Junior Volunteer of the Year
• Disabled Volunteer of the Year
• Club of the Year
• Sports Performer of the Year
• Disabled Sports Performer of the Year
• Junior Sports Performer of the Year
• Adult Team of the Year
• Junior Team of the Year
• Disabled Team of the Year
• Sporting School of the Year
• Outstanding Contribution to Sport

The award ceremony took place on Thursday 24 November 2011 at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. This important event attracted a large audience and served to showcase the huge sporting talent in the borough. It also acknowledged and thanked all those hard working volunteers, sports organisations and clubs that do so much to ensure the success of the borough's sports performers.

Generous sponsorship and support for the event was received from Tottenham Hotspur FC, Pro Active North London, Haringey Sports Development Trust and Everyone's a Winner magazine.
