View your council tax or business rates account details online
Why register for an online account?
Once registered, you will be able to view:
- your council tax bills (issued after 19 November 2008)
- a full statement of your council tax or business rate account
- all payments received after 1 April 2007
- details of your current instalment plan
- details of any discount, exemption or relief
- details of any council tax support (previously known as council tax benefit)
You will also be able to download and print your bills and statements at any time (in PDF format).
Payments can be made using our online payments system, or our dedicated phone line 0845 070 1414 (see call charges page). Payments get processed and your account details updated every night, so any payments made will be reflected online the day after the payment is made.
Security of your account
To keep your details safe and secure, before you can access your account details online a unique pin code must be issued to your postal address. You should already have this on the back of your council tax/business rates bill. If not we will post one out to you as part of the sign up process (normally takes 3 working days).
Changes of address
If you have changed address in Haringey, or are responsible for more than one council tax or business rate account, use the Add Account option once you have logged in.
Once you have registered your account online you will no longer receive paper statements and bills through the post. Instead you will be able to view, download and print these yourself at any time from the system.
