What happens next?

Haringey Council’s Cabinet will meet on 13 February 2018 to recommend a budget to Full Council, which will meet to agree a budget on 26 February 2018.

Once the general budget is agreed, any detailed proposals that will have an impact on service users or groups of service users – such as closing or ending specific services – will be subject to further detailed consultation before any final decisions are made.

The continued reduction in government funding, coupled with rising costs of meeting increased demand in areas like adult social care, children’s social care and temporary housing, means that we have to save around £15 million during 2018/19.
